Based on all the DNA matches, and court docouments after Arthur's death - it appears that Arthur Connaway is the father of Henry Conaway. From court documents and deeds it appears that Arthur's wife was Anne.

------- Proof Henry Conaway was the son of Arthur Conaway & Ann. It is believed that Arthur Conaway died around 1800 in South Carolina. Neither he nor any of his immediate family were on the 1800 census. Son Henry Conaway was in Warren County, Georgia before 1806 when he married Nancy Turner. There were several instances in the Barnwell District Court of Common Pleas concerning a case where Henry Conaway took Ann Conaway to court for his portion of the estate of A.(Arthur). He was apparently out of state at that time & was represented by Marmaduke Gardner and in the end he was awarded Eighty Five Dollars. Below is
Below Ann is shown as administrator of the estate of Arthur Conaway. And Henry was awarded the money he sued for.

Nothing specific said in deed about connection but… 1785 November 4 Arthur sold land in Orangeburg District to William Weathersbee – 100 acres – Last date his signature seen on a document 1786 May 18 Arthur mentioned in Plat for William Weathersby 1786 5 June Anna (Hannah) mentioned in Deed by Lewis Weathersbee – land leased to Hannah Conaway –First date her name mentioned in a deed I wondered if her name could have been Hannah & they called her Anna or the person who wrote this down misunderstood what was said? 1787 July 4 Lewis Weathersby sold land near Conaway’s Pond Arthur & Ann named a son William.
