|
ETHEL ADELINE LEWIS was schooled in Mobile Alabama. She was very artistic. She could sketch almost anything. After her death in March 1942 DANIEL LOUIS DOZIER married Mary Whorton (1) Cash (2) Cole. DANIEL was a farmer until 1926 when he moved to Lonoke, Lonoke Co., Arkansas. He worked in the rice mill in the winters and took care of the Lonoke cemetery in the summers. Later he helped build the Lonoke High School and laid tile floors. From 1941 - 1966 he was custodian of the Lonoke High School. DANIEL had an ear for music. He could play the violin, guitar, and mandolin. As a student he played in the school band. His first wife married Mary Whorton (1) Cash (2) Cole in March 1942. Mary outlived all three of her husbands. ETHEL ADELINE DOZIER's grave was dug by Bob Pack - a friend of the family. There was no marker put up. She was buried in Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Cabot, Arkansas. DANIEL's grave marker is wrong. It shows his name as LOUIS D. DOZIER. He is buried in the Lonoke Cemetery with Mary.
