Origins of the Lassiter Family Name - England Components of the Name Coat of Arms - The Shield is: Blue with a fess between three gold fleur de lis. The Crest is: A silver swan's head. The motto is: "Pro Rege Et Patria."
JAMES LASSITER Lassiter was the father of Patience Lassiter who married John Turner. Below are references to various Lassiter documents, some of which contain information on JAMES LASSITER & his relatives. I was unable to determine at what point JAMES LASSITER died & his son James Lassiter Jr. began signing the documents. I capitalized the name in those I thought possible for the elder. It is possible that MARTHA LASSITER was the wife of JAMES LASSITER. They witnessed a document together.
