Will of DAVID TOOL Dallas County, Alabama 1822

I DAVID TOOL of the State of Alabama and county of Dallas do make and declare this my last will and testament in the manner and form following viz. I give and bequeath to my dear and beloved wife all of my estate goods and chattels during her natural life. And at her death I give and bequeath unto my daughter Judith Fulch my negro girl Nelly. I give and bequeath to my daughter Penelope Works my negro woman Phillis. I give and bequeath unto my Grandson Jessee Works my negro man Sey all my land being the west half of Section of N 19 township N 17 in range N 12 - also all of the money I have at this time and one bed.

All of the rest and residue of my goods and chattels to be equally divided between my Four daughters Judith Fulch, Penelope Works, Teletha Waller, and Anna Parker and my Grandson Jesse Works after all just demands are paid. I nominate constitute and appoint Peter Parker and Jessee Works my executant in this my last will and testament thereby making all other and former wills by me at anytime heretofore made.

In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this

Dallas County me the subscriber Judge of the County Court of said county Thomas N. Gardner and Henry Moss who being duly sworn say they signed the Instrument on the other half of the sheet as witness to the same and that they saw DAVID TOOL sign seal publish and declare said instrument to be his last will and testament.
