New York p 217 -211 LAWRENCE NATHANIEL LAWRENCE, son of Enoch and Ruth (Whitney-Shattuck) Lawrence, was born in Watertown, Massachusetts, February 21, 1677-78; died in Groton, September 13, 1765. He married ANNA SCRIPTURE, of Mason, New Hampshire; she died September 30, 1758. Children, all born in Goton:

D. 1765 Aged 87 years 6 months & 21 days The son of Enoch & Ruth (Whitney/Shattuck) Lawrence, born Feb 21, 1677-8, at Watertown. Lawrence, MD (1888) page 39 NATHANIEL LAWRENCE, The oldest son of Enosh , and grandson of John, sen., was born in Watertown, feb. 21, 1677-8. He married ANNA SCRIPTURE about the year 1701, and had a large family. In the Groton records, May 8, 1705, he is called "sergeant." He was chosen constable in 1711, and afterwards served as surveyor of highways and tithingman.
